In 2004, Mr Öztürk was elected as a member of the Court of Cassation and in 2016 he was elected as the President of the 15th Civil Chamber of the Court of Cassation. Having retired from the presidency, Öztürk currently provides consultancy support on real estate and construction law and works contracts at Kahraman Law & Consultancy.

Öztürk has a published book titled ‘Procedures and Principles of Works Contracts’.
